About

Since I was 18 I have been calling for multiple Sports at various levels. Not only a Sportscaster, I report on the leagues I work for. If you need an up to date information on hockey in Southern California or a voice behind the mic, I’ll be there!

Bryan Flores – Sportscaster and Sports Journalist

Bryan Flores was born in Los Angeles, California. Growing up knew he wanted to be a professional hockey announcer. During his high school years, he would often attend sporting events (if he wasn’t playing for his that day) and call any sport he can witness. Bryan loved doing this so much that after he graduated in June of 2018 from Edgewood High School, he got his first job as a Sportscaster calling for the University of Southern California Hockey Team. He did this by not only broadcasting for the Trojans but improving the quality of broadcasting and journalistic integrity throughout the ACHA by getting to know and report on several players who played for the Trojans and several other local hockey clubs. He did this until the summer of 2021 where he ultimately resigned in pursuit of bigger opportunities

During the 2020 Pandemic he was contacted by the LA Kings High School Hockey League where he was asked to broadcast their entire season. As well as gather stories about all the players of the league to keep the parents and fans appraised about the league. This season would be abbreviated from 11 to 6 weeks. In which Bryan was tasked to broadcast every team who participated in the season for both JV and Varsity at the Simi Valley Iceoplex. After the season concluded, he then broadcasted and reported on the Championship and Playoffs for the LAKHSHL at The Cube in Santa Clarita

In the summer of 2021 after working nearly 4 years with the USC Trojans and Black Dog Hockey, Bryan resigned after receiving a job offer from former first round pick in the 2010 NHL draft Emerson Etem. Bryan now works as Play by Play Broadcaster for the Long Beach Shredders as well as insider for the USPHL as a whole. During this time, he was also hired on by CIH Media as Play by Play voice and Broadcast Producer. Still announcing for the LAKHSHL he now shifts his focus to higher junior hockey.

Bryan Flores is currently enrolled at Full Sail University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports Broadcasting, he graduated in December of 2021. Now, he is obtaining his master’s degree in New Media Journalism, he is expected to graduate February of 2022. After graduating from Full Sail, he looks to work with an AHL team as a professional announcer full time. Until then he works hard for the Long Beach Shredders, the USPHL, the Los Angeles Kings High School Hockey League, and CIH Media!
